* Outstanding old engine, it looks to be in great condition. It is the only one of its kind I have seen and it has a name plate ! Appreciate the post & photos! This Company was established in 1903 and was taken over by Thomas & Grant in late 1908. This is a 1903 article From Iron World Magazine. * |

Dick and Richard, Guess I will need to post some pictures of the Fairbanks-Grant launch that I have that needs an engine. My guess is that each are lone survivors. For now I am enjoying my stay at Mystic. It's been a great and well rounded show with inbosrds, outboards,steam and models. Keith |
