I recently found a Palmer ZR2 that is missing a few parts, I'm just curious if parts are very hard to find for these or not? I would like to know if anyone has one or has pictures of one so I can make some of those missing parts like the intake manifold. Are there any manuals available for these? This one has a reverse gear or at least some sort of a gearbox attached. All I have to do is load it up in my truck, its a freebie. |

Jimmy, Any of the castings such as the cylinders, heads, and exhaust manifold will be very hard to find. The other parts aren't easy to find... but possible... We sell a reprint of the Palmer ZR Manual with some additional information provided by Dick Day. You should also get the Palmer Handbook which has valuable operating and restoration info. Quite a few collectors have ZR2 engines... maybe some will post pictures here... Ernie is working on one and he posted some pictures previously. Try the "keyword search" link on the left for "palmer" (it will probably return too many links) or "zr" |
