I just purchased a single cylinder engine that the seller called a Kermath. The word Kermath is cast into the cylinder head, but the transmission case is clearly labeled Palmer. He gave me an envelope of papers and they are a manual for the Baby Husky. So it looks like I have a BH, when I wanted a kermath. Did Palmer use kermath heads? Does a Kermath head just happen to fit on the BH? Anyone near Maine want a BH? |

Can we have some pics? You can e-mail them direct to me and I will post them for you if you want. Palmer didn't use Kermath heads and I doubt that the Kermath head fits a BH. So I wonder what you have. May be a Kermath with Paragon gear that has a Palmer cover on it which makes sense and is a possibility. What model Kermath are you looking for? I have a good sea pup single cylinder with reverse gear. Thanks |

Ok, sorry I was wrong. I said it had Kermath on the head because that is what the seller told me. I have now checked it out myself and it clearly says Palmer. I cannot understand how he thought it was a Kermath. I wanted a Kermath Sea Pup because that was what I had in my first boat about 1962. I have the parts of a Sea Pup here but the block is badly cracked. I will sell this Palmer either on Craigslist or at the auction at Cabin Fever in April. If anyone here is interested let me know. |

Ron, Click on my name to the left and e-mail me direct. If the Palmer has a good water jacket I will consider trading it for the Sea Pup Ernie |
