Pics of someone's new toy. Guessing about 12 HP. I will let him speak up if he wants.
Supposedly this was in use till the 60s when the boat lost an altercation with some rocks.
Note all the fittings with out plier/wrench marks. Amazing that there were no pliers and pipe wrenches around Moosehead Lake Maine.
I feel sorry for the new owner. Compression is such that it will have to be bounce started.
I am sure it will run the way it is. Just needs the grease cups cleaned out and a spring on the timer handle replaced. The carb is here just not on the engine right now.

Jeff, that is a nice looking Caille. I had a chance to purchase that engine but I passed because I already have two Caille twins now. Glad to see it went to a good home. Looks just like my 14hp Caille but it does not have holes in the flywheel. Everything else looks the same I believe. Hope to start mine here in the next few weeks. All is done except the electrical. It will be the first time it has run in many of years.
