I am hoping to find a set of bearing shells for a Gray Marine Engine 4-60 to be re babbited. Does anyone know of a source?

I think that engine uses a Hercules block, so the Parry Automotive guy shown in the previous post might be able to help you.
Chris Craft, Buchanan, Gray all used Hercules blocks

There were are also some Continental blocks used as by various marine manufacturers.
A competent automotive machine shop and or maybe the internet will have a listing of casting numbers which can be used to identify most engine blocks.
Hope this helps

Based on head gasket and casting numbers, it is a Continental C 400 block.
