I am hoping to find a set of bearing shells for a Gray Marine Engine 4-60 to be re babbited. Does anyone know of a source? |

I think that engine uses a Hercules block, so the Parry Automotive guy shown in the previous post might be able to help you. Chris Craft, Buchanan, Gray all used Hercules blocks miro |

There were are also some Continental blocks used as by various marine manufacturers. A competent automotive machine shop and or maybe the internet will have a listing of casting numbers which can be used to identify most engine blocks. Hope this helps Ernie |

Based on head gasket and casting numbers, it is a Continental C 400 block. |
