Well after that mess I think I now got the hang of it. here is some more I am put together a Vinco 4hp. The Vinco needed the bottom end white metal bearings replaced and new bearings put in to the top end. I decided to have a go my self. I pured the first set on top and bottom which turned out ok. I look at them again and throught that a better job can be done, the first go was to see if it was possible. I use the oxy to melt the bearings out that I did before and pured another lot which turn out a lot better as you see by the photos. I had a go at some white matel bearings.The first time were ok but I re pured another lot as I thought they could be done better. The bottom end was alot easier than the top. The top part was a litte harder as the main bearing are also attached to the cylinder. |
