I've had no luck finding an Ency type book covering the US independent 4-6-8cyl inline vehicle engine builders in the 00s-32 or so period...and I can't afford a set of the annual Dyke's... I'm wondering about Graysons 1885-1950 book, since many of these builders listed marine and st'ry as well as vehicle use... Does Grayson include inlines such as these, especially the early 00s/teens inline 4s like Dart, Farmer, Herrmann, Multi-Unit, North American, Parker, Penn, Schlosser, Sommer ad nauseum?? I've ordered a copy of whatisnames' "Proprietary Engines In Vehicles", but it's a disappointing 44 pgs and heavily on Euro engines. Any comments, suggestions appreciared. Many rhxx!! Bud |
