Can you please help me? I have a Volvo Penta MD2b and would like some information on propellor rotation in forward gear when viewing from rear. should it be right or left hand rotation? |

Just start your engine and see which way the prop is turning in forward gear. Looking along the boat from the transom end if it turning clockwise then it is a right hand prop you require, if anti-clockwise then it is a left hand prop.. easy.. |

The rotation of the MD1B is clockwise when facing the flywheel so will therefore be turning anti-clockwise at the prop, but check this anyway as the MD1B has several gearboxes, each for different functions.e |
