| Prop rotation 4-85 with paragon tranny |

Got tranny adjusted and motor running smoothly. I'm stumped! installed in a 15 ft. Mercury (San Diego Boat Co.) When I pull the shift lever toward me while in the cockpit the prop spins opposite engine rotation. The helm is on the starboard side of the cockpit. Is it possible the counter rotating prop offsets the weight on the helm. Should the prop rotate clockwise instead of counter clockwise? Any help greatly appreciated. Mike |

Look at the flywheel while running. The propeller should spin that way. Perhaps you have a LH propeller on and need a RH. or opposite. |
