First time here. Doing a club story that has mention of a Duesenburg Model 95 Marine Engine. Its a flathead eight, 254CID, 125HP @ 4000 rpm. What years was it offered? At what wholesale/retail price? Please contact me directly at [email protected]. Thanks.

I had heard the The early Duesenburg cars had used Wisconsin engines. I am not sure if these is of any help. Just thought I throw it out there. |

Seems to me there was a Loew-Victor Marine connection here; will do some digging. |

Sure enough on page 46 and 47 of Stan Graysons vol#1 Engines Afloat-a Loew Victor connection. Fred and August Deusenburg were the design input along with Ed Hall of Hall-Scott(page #80)later on for the Deusenburg boys. Lycoming built the car motors. The Auburn Cord Deuenburg museum doesn't seem to want to know about the Marine engines. |
