Merry Christmas to all and thank you "Andrew" for providing this site. It's great for meeting other individuals and exchanging information. Where else could one go, to pick the brains and experience, of those who participate in our hobby. Like Ernie, Dick Day, Richard Durgee, Tom S., Miro, Bruce, J.B., Bill S.,Steve F. and all the others who participate. Merry Christmas to all.

I agree wholeheartedly Keith. Where could you meet such a wonderful group of slightly nutty people. When one looks at the beautiful restorations of antique marine engines one has to say they are approaching the quality of a Michael Angello. Surely there is no group that can claim a higher dedication to quality and authenticity than those you meet on this page. Andrew thank you a thousand times over for this incredible opportunity you have created for not only those of us around today but our sucessors. What a wealth of history they will have to look back on when they try to find out some small detail of this long vanished period of industrial developement. Think of the audit trail we are generating every time a new item appears on this page. When I look back on the years in the wilderness when no one it seemed collected marine engines it is truly amazing how the internet has opened a whole new opportunity for us to meet and learn details that would otherwise have been lost to history. Keep finding those long lost relics and hope we get to meet one day. Don't forget CMM is 1 and 2 May and then comes Mystic in August. Merry Christmas to all. Dick and Barbara Day |

What a wonderful place in time we are. Thanks to Andrew this site allows us to get together although far apart, to share this pastime of collecting, restoring, researching or just appreciating these old relics and this very special time in our history. It sure helps enrichen daily life and can only be exceeded by all of you that share this fascination.
I wish you all a "VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS"

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all also...
I've done very little, I just host the site and you guys provide all the material. The internet provides a method to share infomation, but it wouldn't happen if you all weren't so willing to devote so much time and energy to sharing and helping each other.
I just got back from visiting family in Maryland, and even got a chance to see Dick Day and visit the Calvert Maritime Musuem... excellent musuem.
My big project in 2003 was the construction (with much help from friends and contractors) of a barn/workshop in my "spare" time. It is almost finished and I have moved some of my collection inside (made me wish I had considered collecting model engines!).
I hope to have more time to devote to this site in 2004.

It's all been said ........thanks Andrew. Hope to provide some pics of Juno soon . She is going to be reborn still with her original Stuart Turner but a latter conversion to Steam will occur |
