Does not seem like a very good name for a engine. Even if it is spelled different (Hazzard). |

As usual, coming in a little late on this one...Hazard also marketed truck engines under "Ergon", beginning with a 43/8x6 "D", producing their smaller 4x41/2 "CX" and 33/4x4`1/2 "C" in late 1913, per Google... Advertising I found that describes engines refers ro the C, CX and D engines, but a 1917 ring catalog also lists a 33/4 "B", a "BF" listed as both 33/4 and 4", and a "BFX" of 4"...dates for the Hazard engines listed therein are 1909-1915...there's no "Silent" listed therein, and no Ergon, Hazard or Silent engines appear in my 1924/25/30/33 parts catalogs, which are weak on marine...A cursory Googling found no history or disposition of Hazard... |
