Just picked this up. Quite a little engine, if anybody has one like it I would like to hear from you. Have not tried to start it yet, but, it wont take much! |

That looks a lot like this Barber. I wanted it real bad, but not a good time for me to purchase it. Wow! what a nice rare collector engine. :@)

Very nice engines, should have a sound similar to a Harley. |

I like the effort that guys took to make the decompression valve cocks straight up and down, rather than 90 degrees to the head. The valve motion would sure look great in a boat just popping along. miro |

The compression release valves are made that way so when you bend over to start the engine the spray will hit you in the face and wake you up. LOL :@) |

Here are a couple of pictures of Bruce H's Barber engines. Either one would be great in a wooden boat chugging down the bayou. miro

Anyone know who bought the V-twin Barber that Engineguy63 sold on Smokstak this weekend? |
