Hi Richard, Where did this one come from? This is one of the best pieces as it describes the HP Vs. RPM range for the Heavy, Medium and High Speed offerings. Very rare and hard to find. What we need to find now is the cam and carb info for the different models. Cheers, Lew The West Coast Sterling Guy! |

I don't have that copy. Any article on the boats and engines? Any Sterling info? Thanks, Lew The West Coast Sterling Guy! |

* The covers are worthy of a book of their own ! What's ideal with Sterling ads in these years they are always on the last page of the magazine, no scrolling through pages to find them ! This is the issue with the 1914 ad above. * |

I agree Richard. The covers have been amazing! And Sterling ads in the early years are wonderful for my research. The mid to late 20s rear covers are beautiful and also worthy of a book of their own but not as good for info. I am slowly collecting Motor Boating mags from mostly prior to WWII. Not as many places on the West coast for them anymore. ANY Sterling specs, manuals, catalogs and tech stuff from pre 1930 would be of great help. Especially anything covering the R and R-1 series engines from pre 1920. Do you have anything on Wisconsin from the teens of the models AM, PM, JRM? Cheers, Lew |
