I am sure someone will correct me if I get this wrong, but I think Westbend was bought by Powerbee. Search Powerbee on the net. This does not look like a 1940s engine. |

it is a featherweight West bend, there is an emblem with that info. The engine is old because the boat was old when I received it around 1963.My grandfathers brother told me he got it after he came back from the war, maybe Korean war.Chrysler bought out westbend.hoped to find a site or book that lists model numbers and years made.As long as I can get parts,I'll be happy. With all the engines out there there must be a parts supply somewhere.I will keep looking.i am posting a pic of label and last pic I have of mu boat in 1969. |

Still have my West Bend powered go-cart. These engines had an adjustable breaker/ignition plate, so you could turn the timing up and run hard. |

I just purchased the same motor, can you send any info, you may have acquired. Also from your pic, i can only assume we have the same style of boat. mine is missing the bench for the seat. additional photos would be great. |
