Here is an image from a 1910 Montgomery Wards catalog that recently sold on Ebay. It showed mostly farm engines but this one page shows Wards 'Admiral' engines which I believe were manufactured by Dunn Motor Works. |

Great old ad, Had the Admiral tradename but not the photo ad, they are Dunn mfgd engines- another mystery solved !! |

I just picked up a Dunn engine and am looking for info. it is a two cylinder with the time driven off the end of the cam shaft next to the prop shaft coupling. I can not find any oil pan or crankcase side or any place to mount or bolt to the engine frame. Can anyone give me any idea what year, where is the serial number located or any other info. The engine is in fair shape, however i will need sleeve the cyliners back to original, plus locate a carborator. |

Has anyone some up with a Dunn add showing the engine with a carb on it? Just wondering what Dunn originally used.
As to actual engiens they have showed up with just about any carb you can think of. From looking at all the Dunn pics on here and elsewhere the most common is a Model T Ford. |
