Hi Folks, I am new and am looking for help locating NOS or someone who might direct me to a marine head gasket set (2) for the Buick 225 v6 engine for my Johnson 17 Deluxe circa 1964. Jeep 225 gaskets fit but will not hold up in salt water. The Buick 231 v6 is later and probably will not work. I have been restoring this fine runabout for over 3 years, but that is another story. Go to www.gasketstogo.com He makes excellent compressible copper head gaskets if you supply a pattern. He is located in Thailand and his prices are very reasonable. |
