properway to winterize p-60 in the past I've taken plate off water pump, sprayed fogger in plug holes, taken rubber hose off top of engine (front of manifold to rear?) taken drain plug out of manafold on starboard side. Plug out of water jackeded exaust put a can of sea foam in gas tank, srayed penatrating oil in thru hulls. What I have not done is completly filled Paragon revers gear with oil or a TBL spoon of 10 wt oil in each cylinder or put anti freze in motor. If that is nessasary or better how do you do that? through water pump intake? I had to change head gassket this spring and belive I have an ongoing sticking valve proublem first start of day is realy hard if I start every hour after that it starts right up. I put sea foam in oil and seemed to have it starting normal, when I changed oil and put in seafoam again it was back to hard starting. Any ideas on this or winterizing would be much appreciated.

Living in the Salish Sea area (Gulph Islands Canada)our winters are very mild,rarely freezing,but dam the rain is cold! If I may ask what is " fogger spray " ? and what is sea foam for the oil? I too have changed the head gasket and suspect sticking valves(compression test tomorrow!)Make sure your flash supressor is clean!(mine was quite oily)May your winter be as mild as 2012! |

He should have used capital letters for "sea foam". Should be "Sea Foam" a brand name of a fuel stabilizer that can be gotten at an auto parts store. |

Its an additive recommended by other member for sticky valves you can use in oil or gas. Follow instructions on link. Fogger is an aerosol lubricant sprayed in spark plug hole for boat motors. We get below zero here in South Dakota lots of ice and snow. |

If I want to add antifreeze what is the process through intake port ? My first p-60 new to boating with inboard . |
