I have a p60. I have water leaking out of backfire trap when flushing water jacked exaust. I hook garden hose to it to flush prior to launching and this year I have water leaking out the backfirer trap. What could be wrong? |

Possibly a cracked manifold. If you were flushing the whole engine when you saw water at the carb screen it could also be a bad head gasket. Check the cylinders for water. |

Thanks for a response i checked cylinders and all have water. The rear cylinder has more and is the lowest on the trailer. There is no water in oil I sucked it out and no oil. The little plug on side of manafold? had no water in it I alwasy drain at end of season. There proubly is no more than a cup of water in cylinder. What should i do next? Am not mechanic but am determind and can follow directions with deatails I also have manual bought from website servel years ago. I have computer and phone and camera on boat. I have all head bolts out but broke the two that hold alternater, What next. Going to call Jim |

Ray I broke 3 head bolts removing the head as well! I had to redrill as best as possible and retap for the same size bolts! Or placing helicoils is another option and probably the better one. |

Glen I got mine out with help penatrating oil and an easy out. The two I broke where the two under the altenter bracket so i used 3/8 longer bolt all new bolts and anti seze. let me know how you come out or if you have more questions. |
