Anybody got any information about the "WICO 01" magneto? Its on a Caille or American engine (not sure what one it is). Any info would be appreciated. |

Hello there.Your Wico is probably a brittish made mag.Also similar to the Wipac mag serial one as far as I can see.Black cap with four screws to protect the ht coil,am I right? Very good magneto,parts are still aviable. Knut... |

I have two of them one on my caille and one spare they are rare and hard to find it was one of the first magneto that WICO made. Go to caille and look at the thread my winter project for a picture. |

Cody sorry not at this time the one on my engine works and the one the bench has some missing parts I need like the nickel vent and all the right bolts |

Cody sorry I have not replied to your post I have bin working on the Morgun project and it is taking all my time Tatu mag is the same but the tripping arm is shorter |

Hi, I have a WICO model A with impulse starter. I would like to know if when timing them, do you time it to the impulse starter or the actual running speed timing? I have it in a Simplex single cylinder.. |

For years I have set the timing so the impulse trips just at TDC or slightly before. Hope this helps Ernie |
