Hi can anyone help. Im trying to find the year of manufacture of a evinrude 6hp outboard engine. The only numbers on the engine are. B4827 and 63B368.I have been on the evinrude site but cannot find anything like these numbers. Thanks. |

The letter B designates it as being built in Belgium. I'm not sure of their number system but a dealer should have that info. |

Since posting this I have bought spares from a local dealer with no problems. It seems to be a 1973 motor . Some of the spares seem to still used on fairly new engines.
