I was tooling around North Tonawanda and visited a boatshop by the Niagara River.
In the shop was a Liberty V 12 engine in the process of restoration.
Chris, the fellow who is doing the restoration was quite modest about his work, but as you can see, the work so far is excellent. He expects to have the engine running by mid-year.

Nice manifolds! Who built them and at what cost?
Is this Liberty for a boat application?
If so, what reverse gear? It would be nice to see either another GarWood box or a Capital Gear LA-12.
How is he adapting a starter?
Army or Navy pistons? (Compression was different thus different HP rating.)
Who was the original manufacturer of the engine?
