Seems to me a 6 cyl Rochester is out there-possibly owned by Steve Fox. My Mercury Mark 78A is as close as I'll ever get... |

Seems to me that the valve at V in Figure 1 is backwards miro |

Miro I blew the pic up real big and the valve at V opens inward to allow intake form the port to the right and below V. I is the exaust. I think this is another version of a true 2-3 port engine. You can look the patent up on line using Google. The USPTO didn't allow me to get the text. However one of the Google links allowed me tp print a PDF. Glad you questioned it as it is real interesting once you have the text to go with the pic. |

Bruce, Bill - I ended up with the Rochester Six. It will be a real challenge when I get to it, but it's an impressive machine. |

good day,my aging father would like to sell A boat engine he aquired many years ago It is A Pierce Budd 3cyl.2cycle it is not restored and looks to be missing one carb.and the water pump the drive gear for the pumpis there, I have found a bit of info. on these engines.would some one out there help me with a value?
