poor spelling. Shaft mentioned has been siezed for many years in a working boat.Owner switched to a transmission. This is a corrosion problem not a buildup of hard grease. Was wondering if there was an electrolysis process out their that would free these parts.

I would try to heat the outer shaft gently...
