Due to my near non-existant knowledge of engines I have checked that there is gas and oil and I have turned the key. I thought finding a mechanic would be easy not the impossibility that it has turned out to be. |

Try to get in touch with Bill Roe, Roe Marine. He's in your area and dependable and honest. |

When get a mechanic, you will probably need to dig up info for him as these engines are out of production and part sources are not easy to cross reference without help. The good news is that there is a lot of help on this board |

I second JB. Bill Roe is central LI, north side. Has marine service. Have done business w/ him many times. Owns many Palmers himself. Usually displays some at Mystic in August. Can email his phone. David |

Thanks all for your responses. I did get a mechanic and discover that there is no pressure in one cylinder and water too. Ive been told the engine is dead. One person I thought on this thread said that they had rebuilt an engine and have it for sale. now i cant find that person. Are you out there? |
