Anyone have info on this engine,history or value? I have a working one in a Plymouth Pilot 16'. |

Hi there, i have a copy of the owners manual on my PC and am happy to forward a copy to you. there were two BRIT ENGINES available , the IMP and the SPRITE the latter being the two cylinder model most of the parts were interchangable but are virtualy nonexistant these days. regards steve. |

Thank for the info Steve, most welcome. My one must be the Imp then, as it only has one pot. I would also like it if you could download the manual to me,I would find it interesting to view. I thought this engine was rare! Much regards Keith |

Hi everyone, I have just bought a 5 hp Brit imp. It is I think mostly complete.I do not think it has done a lot of hours,but has been stripped and abandoned. Can anyone help me with a manual or similar please? The serial no's are:- type 22 hp 5 model pet 22/1/10.Does the gear box have forward and reverse/ neutral or is it neutral / forward only? Kind regards,water womble. Ps I would like to fit this in my corribee mk1. |
