I came across this engine cleaning out a garage the owner stated that he was a criss craft boat builder in california and completley rebuilt the motor in the 1960s was ready to stick it in a criss craft and ended up selling the boat with out the motor it has been sitting in his garage since then The motor will turn over but i have not tried to start it what do i have? the numbers on right hand side of block are 1115329-2 underneath that 10-28-8 and on the head E-92689-m the engine is complete with trans |

It might also be a Hercules block based engine. There were a number of boat builders who put their badges on these blocks. Parts and gaskets for these are still available. Pictures - pictures miro |
