| Caille single 2-stroke 8hp paint color? |

Just got my iron back from the hot tank, and was wondering if anybody know of the color scheme for the Caille motor I have? It did have yellow striping on the intake mainfold and base of crankcase. Prominent color unknown. HELP! |

I have a Caille as well and have the same problem! They (Caille) did use a gold (yellow) striping over a dark green base, I have no clue as to the shade. I have an add showing this striping, but the add is black and white. I would love to know if this was the only color. My best guess to date is a dark green base with gold stripes. Bill |

Thanks, cap'n. I was doing some cleaning on my Wico model 01 mag and found a good sized green paint chip on the backside. As close as I can tell at this point, it looks a shade or two darker than the Fairbanks Morse green on my stationary engines. I think I'll have it analyzed at the auto body supply shop and have them match the paint for me if the chip is large enough.
Is there a way you could forward a copy of the ad to me? If you're unable to do it electronically, I would be happy to pay for a good copy and shipping.
