I am researching a coach building company in the UK (Gilford 1925 - 1935) that used Buda BUS and Buda ASB engines in their vehicles and am seeking information on both. The company founder discovered the make through refurbishing Garford chassis for use in British commercial vehicles after WWI. Main driver for the latter is a friend is restoring a vehicle with what we believe to be Buda ASB engine no. 54. We may also look long term to try and locate a spare engine accepting that will be a real challenge. Any pointers on finding information about both types gratefully received as I intend writing a book about Gilford and would like to include a chapter on the engines they used. |
