Hi,I am very close to finishing off a penguin marine engine that I have saved from the rubbish tip.I am trying to source the middle section of the magneto coupling between the magneto coupling and the crankshaft coupling.I would be more than willing to pay for the part and any postage along with payment for sourcing and packing. If someone could help me out or if you might know of someone who might have one that they would like to sell it would be very much appreciated, Kind Regards Shane. |

Possibly one of the volunteer machiniststs at Sydney Heritage Fleet Rozelle could help, and you could make a donation as well... Are you in Sydney? |

Hi Guys,I live in Gods Country Townsville North Queensland.I haven't been able to find anyone up in this neck of the woods that is interested in old marine engines. When I dug up the engine someone had already taken the liberty of removing the magneto and the drive coupling. If someone would be as kind to post a picture of what the drive coupling looks like it sure would be appreciated as I have no idea as to what they look like up close. Most of the pictures I've seen of the penguin engines on the internet don't show the coupling area in any detail.Would I be right in assuming they would be made of Brass??? Kind Regards,Shane |

Which model do you have? Can you post a picture? Using the right mouse key, click on the best image you can find and click on save . Be careful where you save it. You can now open your image and enlarge and focus on your point of interest. http://www.oldmarineengine.com/technical/carburetor/scheblerD.html |

Hi Allen, I have hopefully attached before and after photos. I don't really know the size or model??? It has a long Intake Manifold attached to exhaust box and the Schebler Carb has a bored out grease fitting on top which I think would be to start on petrol first and then over to kerosene. Kind Regards Shane.
