I have a Pennsylvania barn-sale Ford V8-60 marinized engine conversion with a Lehman marine conversion kit that I do not need.
It appears to be a used automobile Ford V8-60 that has a brand new & never used Lehman marine engine conversion kit attached. Also included are a spare extra set of marine exhaust manifolds & water cooled exhaust elbows.
It does not appear that this V8-60 marine conversion engine has ever been used in any boat!
The new paint is still on the marine exhaust manifolds & elbows with NO rust or corrosioin,
The engine itself actually rotates.
I have no use at all for it~~~It's taking up space in my garage.
Could anyone here use it for their Antique boat , or Old antique race-boat project ?

I have received a number of questions on the marine conversion V8-60.
The engine does NOT have any marine transmission / gear bolted onto it now.
It does have the flywheel & original auto style clutch & pressure plate bolted on it's flywheel however.
The Ford top Front mounted generator is missing.
These generators are very easy to find however.
The rest of the engine is very complete & the engine actually rotates.
This V8-60 has cast-iron crankcase lower sides~~~Not the thin sheetmetal steel sides.
It now has it's stock cast-iron heads & single carb stock intake maifold.
I do not know the exact year of this engine.
I want this engine out of my garage soon!
I have no use for it !
No reasonable & fair offer refused.
I want it to go into someone's boat restortion project.

Is there any common period correct marine transmission/ reverse & clutch gear that will bolt right on this old Ford V8-60 engine block?
ie: Capitol, Paragon etc ?
Would there be a need for any marine transmission /reverse gear engine adapter bellhousing & transmission input shaft to flywheel adapter damper/coupler ?
Does anyone here have the proper marine transmission to actually fit this Ford V8-60 engine ?
