Hi everyone, Please can someone help me with some information about a small water cooled Kubota diesel engine?
The engine is single cylinder and has these details stamped on its makers plate....
Model MH EH
Kubota Ltd
No 61989
RPM 2200
Rated PS 8
Thats all I have.I also have no idea when the engine was built.Apart from having no information,the engine itself looks to be all there and hopefully will be a runner.The flywheel has a retracting starting handle.
Heres hoping for some help.

hi Phil late posting
did you get info on your engine?
do you still have the engine?
these engines were released on the NZ market in early 1970s
the MHEH then the KD10; basically same engine but KD10 rated at 10hp with covers over engine.
I have some info and faded manual
