* Sterling Model B Hi Richard, Here are a few pictures of the Sterling we talked about last week. I'll send a few more without the engine hoist sometime. Does it look similar to yours? You can post them to Old Marine engine if you like, I cant access my account. Take care, Peter Kreissle * |

Good looking motor Peter! Looks like the small brother to my R1-135 6 cylinder. Glad to see that more Sterling Engines from that age survive. Cheers & Happy New Year, Lew "The West Coast Sterling Guy" |

Hi guys, Do we know anyone that can restore or reproduce the porcelain Name / Model ID tags on these engine? The one for my Sterling R1-135 (3 pics directly above) looks just like these model Bs, missing half of the porcelain! My 1906 model 14-18 4 cylinder just has a brass tag, pre porcelain for Sterling. Cheers, Lew "The West Coast Sterling Guy" |

Hi Guys, I would love to hear from anyone restoring any of these early Sterlings. I would love to see any process pics and find out what documentation has surfaced, parts being used / created etc. Cheers, Lew |
