I would like to see an example or talk with anyone who has a existing 5-1/2 x 6 or larger (50-80 hp) upright 4 cyl. Brennan Engine (built in Syracuse, NY, these had a crankcase split at a 45 degree angle, used in trucks, tractors, railcars as well as marine applications) of 1907-1918 era. 607-263-5727 |

Hi; I have a three main bearing Brennan Imp that I believe is 25hp. This engine has a Tillotson YC1B carburetor on it. I believe that this is the wrong carburetor because the Tillotson book says that this carb goes on a Toro 4.75 HP lawn mower. Does anyone know what the correct carburetor is for this engine? Thanks for the help .Phil |
