New toy landed in my garage yesterday Fresh water too! It is amazing how nice these little things run. The mag apears to have been rebuilt by an aircraft mag shop to include rewinding the coil. I got into it by accident and it actually hurt The reverse gear is a Gies and will eventually end up behind the 3 hp Gray in my launch. |

On your newly obtained Kermath single....what type of Mageto do you have and would your type fit any of the Kermath singles (1948 Detroit). Thanks, Larry Hughston in Sacramento <[email protected]> |

Congrats on the aquisition of a great little marine engine. Do you know if your magneto type would fit my Kermath single? I am also in need of a new connecting rod. My Kermath was bought with badly scoard connecting rod at the crank end. (manufactured Detroit 1948 ?) ---Larry Hughston, Sacramento <[email protected]> |

They all used the same horrible Edison mag. As to internals I can't assist you. However they do turn up with bad water jackets due to salt water and those can usually be picked up reasonably |

I am looking for a flame arrester as used on the Kermath Sea Pup and Sea Twin. Anyone have any leads on where I might acquire one? |
