I need some help here. I am purchasing a 1968 Bristol Trawler and the engines in this boat are labeled as Internationals but the literature that comes with the boat says they are Palmer PD-330s. The pictures of the two engines look the same but I can find zero info on either of these motors. Any help and resources would be most appreciated. Thank you all in advance. |

Palmer used International Harvester engine blocks...they are one of the same. They also used Ford and Wisconsin blocks as well... |

Doug, I sent you what little info I have on the PD-330. I have no Palmer or IHC maintenance manual. the PD-330 came on stream late in the life of the company. The little advertizing material I have is dated 1971 the same year the company went out of business. I would try to get hold of a copy of the IHC engine manual as Palmer was careful not to modify the basic engine. Everything they did was bolt on additions. Sorry I cannot be more helpful. |
