I have a complete set of FACTORY manuals. I'll GIVE them to someone who can use them, you just cover shipping costs. The MB OM 636 series diesels, produced in the 1960's, were considered one of the best marine engines of the time. I'm wondering if anybody still has one? My boat was originally equipped with one, but it has since been replaced. I found a full set of factory manuals recently and I'd like to get them to someone who can use them. I kid you not, 4 ORIGINAL FACTORY manuals. This would be a gold mine of information for anybody who might still have one of these engines. I really don't want to throw them away, I know somewhere there's somebody staring at an old diesel thinking, "damn, I sure wish I had a manual for this thing..." I'm not a registered user on this site, didn't see a need as my boat was recently repowered. Respond to [email protected] if interested. |

Just a follow up. I'm very happy to say that the manuals have found their way to a new owner in the process of restoring his boat, trusty old 636 with it. My apologies to others who made need them, I hope you find a set! |
