COULD ANYBODY HELP ME IDENTIFY THIS EARLY 2 CYCLE INBOARD ENGINEIF YOU EMAIL ME I WILL SEND YOU 3 PICTURES OF THIS ENGINE FOR SOME REASON I CANNOT POST THE PICS ON THIS SITE IT HAS A SCHEBLER BRASS CARB BEMUS POINT BREAKER FLYWHEEL IS 12 IN DIA. WITH THREE HOLES AROUND THE CENTER APPROX 2 IN DIA. ITS IN REALLY NICE SHAPE NO RUST BUT IT HAS A MILLION COATS OF PAINT IT HAS THE WATER PUMP ALONG WITH THE 2 BLADED PROP COMPLETE WITH MOST OF THE SHAFT AND BEARING SUPPORT.I WOULD LIKE TO TRADE THIS FOR MODEL IGNITION RACE TYPE ENGINE-S OR GAS POWERED RACE CAR |

Looks like it needs a water cooled exhaust manifold. |

This is the closest match ( 1914 ad ) to Mikes eng I can find so far-- I don't see the timer, and it appears to be a dry exhaust. On Mikes eng I enlarged the picture and agree with Keith that it has a wet exhaust ??? |

Do I make out a swing arm timer or is that my imagination? I have what appears to be the same model engine but missing the cylinder. I don't remember if I have the water pump will have to look. |

Found several ads from this co. but all of them are the same picture and not any of them good quality. this is from 1913 Marine engine index ?? |

I tried to post earlier and it didn't show up. This looks like a Caille with the wrong timer to me. The check valve, water pump, and exhaust are all like a Caille. Detroit, American, and Termat and Moninhan seemed to share the same base. |

J.B. your way ahead of us on this one, I went to key word search and typed Caille and your answer on Feb 2, 2003 explained the differences in these similar engines, the Caille has the timer and bolt on exhaust !! THANKS |
