I just bought an old Cascade 29ft. sail boat with a Palmer engine I don't know the model. it has a spare engine. is there a market for these engines? I will be repowering with a diesel. |

I assume that you are talking about the Palmer P-60. The engine is derived from an International Harvester C60 tractor engine. Some of the marine parts are peculiar to the Palmer engine and CANNOT be gotten from a tractor supply and of course Palmer went out of business in 1975. Here are some of the critical parts that can only be gotten from salvaging a scrapped engine' Exaust manifold (most critical).
