I am looking to purchase a boat with this engine; currently it is not running (for 3 years). Is a rebuild possible? Cost (me or a shop)? Can I replace it with something else?
I believe that I can rebuild one, but my experience is only with an aircraft engine (not many and big parts) equals easy. |

Those 345's were international truck engines.They are not as popular as chevy v8's, but you can still get parts and i think rebuilt engines.They are now called navistar engines.They were common in single axel farm trucks.The main complaint everyone told me was that they lacked power. |
