Here is an even smaller dome top of the same owner. This one has 9" diameter flywheel 3" wide.

Doug, Good photos of both engines, when I get my
computer back from the shop, I'll spend some time and try to I.D. these two ! I have put them in my unknown file so not to forget them !

The owner says on the blue smaller engine he can see on the manifold between the bolts what appears to be the faint letters "E & M".

Looks like some flavor of Detroit Auto Marine to me. Pump no timer no manifold no crankcase yes flywheel yes cylinder sort of
Just my thoughts

I thought Detroit Auto Marine also .... carb is on opposite side however. The "E & M" is cast in manifold but rings no bells with me. I was thinking T & M but owner is pretty sure first letter is an "E".

E & M it is, "THE TOGO " made by Ericsson & Moon Mfg Co.,the engine mount as a casting of the crankcase with Draincock is very rare design !

Ernie knows-- look at the address on the ad !!

Would date engine 1906-07.
Cool little 104 year old marine engine.
