I lost most off my water new punp impeller - most likely from not priming it properly. What is the procedure? I am working on taking off thermostat housing, relief vales and coolers to check for bits. Can I run water thru the coolers without removing the oil or trans line? |

This is a great engine. First step: Get a manual and read it carefully. You will find most of what you need to know presuming you are mechanically inclined. If not take it to a shop whose mechanics have gray hair. Also, if it has side draft carbs, consider getting an adapter plate and a single downdraft carb. The sidedrafts reported had dangerous leaking problems |
