Hi, from Down under (NZ)
I'm currently re placing the engine in my Maurice Griffihs "Eventide" - bilge keeler 24 ft O/R.
In the original plans Stuart P3-5 and Jap 2-5hp are recomended.
I have a JAP 4hp which I'd like to use, with either a 2-1 reduction box or just a clutch & direct drive.
I cannot remember the prop sizes of past Stuart p3-5 motors I've had in other boats but I feel the same props that the stuarts had would suit the JAP engine.
What you think and thanks, great site!
Bob.

Have photos of an alleged 1910 van Blerck 4 cy. 30 hp motor out of the 'Phlox of Montreal" which is still running. I don't have any way of posting them but would snail mail them to whoever would like to do the deed (Andrew?)
