3,25 litres (incl. filter) for a Volvo Pente MD2 15,5 HP

Use mineral oil.
Shell Rimula Super 15W-40 is good for this engine.

I need parts for my MD 67 (c), especially fuel pump, valves, main seals and injector pump seals. This engine has been in the boat since 1960. |

I just took over my parents boat and it has an Volvo Penta MD 67 C which hasn't seen any action for quite a few years now.
The issues it had when it ran a few years ago was that it "leaked fumes" through the valve covers.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Do the valve seals leak too much and/or should these fumes be absorbed by the engine which means the valve-cover-gasket leaks?

i need motor mounts for mine.
stupid thing has 1/2" shaft holes for the engine mounts, when ever other engine on the face of the planet seems to have 5/8".
i have nice vetus mounts that don't fit. wooo! |

Hi Darrin, Thanks for the site for the MD1 Manual. I have an Volvo MD1B s/n 19975 built in Sweden in 1972 that I am trying to restore to running condition. I recently had the injection pump and injector rebuilt but I can not get the throttle/control lever to run the engine properly. I can not even start the engine with the cold start. My centrifugal governor does not have a governor spring on the control lever like some recent models. Is there a procedure for adjusting the linkage between the governor and the injection pump. I have attached an exploded view of the governor linkage in my engine. Any assistance would be appreciated. Mart G.

Looking for a Volvo MD2 gearbox.
Gearstick moves but doesn't engage gear. All started when gearstick was put into reverse. Any ideas. |

Aloha- I'm looking for the top end gasket kit for the MD2. Also, the rigid fuel lines, and/or exhaust manifold and/or the 8 bolts/fasteners holding the manifold to the head. Thank you, Pat |
