Although not powering a vessel exactly, the pictured engine powered a now-defunct mill along the Newfoundland coast until sometime in the last decade. According to the engine's owner, the United is ready to run with very minor fiddling. Who can tell me more about the engine? Scott_n? Type:A HP:9 Ser:700668

That pulley ran a wide leather/rubber belt attached to the saw. A second pulley on the other side ran a planer. |
