Hi Sadly having to sell my boat and P55 on ebay as I never got around to marrying them up. Somebody from this forum told me it was a P55ME which is how I listed it. Can anyone confirm this from the pics? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vintage-Stuart-Turner-P55-Inboard-boat-engine-box-/250651168588?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_Boat_Engines_EngineParts_SM&hash=item3a5bf94f4c Thanks Mark |

The earlier P55ME had a twin magneto, most of the ones with with twin points were P66. All points types would have to be electric start and charge (E). The description you have should be good enough. BTW Whats the boat? GM |

Hi George, Thanks for the reassurance. The boat was really too light to take the engine - I refurbished it and picked up a vintage seagull to use with it. Pictures here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/51133967@N07/sets/72157624273207538/ Also on ebay item no 250651155163 Cheers Mark |
