Popped my anode out today and measured it as best I could without destroying it
Total length 33.5mm large end 14.3 dia x 20mm long - small end 13.5 long x 12mm dia

Anode bar in Australia about 16mm dia and 180mm long is available from Seafarer Marine 02 95262911.

They distribute to boat shops in Melbourne

This was made last year but was a too tight for the brass cup and had to be filed to fit. Total length is not a problem as it won't bottom in the jacket

Thanks Geoff,
Don't suppose you know the thread size of the brass cup. I intend to buy some zinc bar from Discount Seamart (Melbourne) and make up a few spare pencil anode.

Regards
kip

Kip, Looking at it, my best guess is 1/2" BSP. My cup is brass and has a tapered thread. The taper means I use very little thread tape so there is a good electrical joint between plug and block.
My friend found my original sketch
New Dimensions Length 33 small end 12.5 dia x 13 long. Big end 14.3 dia x 20 long

G'day Geoff,
I bought two brass caps from a plumbing supply (3/8 BSPT) and they fit fine. I will get some 16mm zinc rod and turn it down

Thanks
kip
