After 4 months I finally got this home. I had posted questions in the past based on one photo, but now have several. This is a Farymann W18, 10hp. What seems odd to me is the, "Kermath-Farymann," plate and the connection to Hawthorne, California. Can anyone explain this? Also, it has a made-in-Finland in/out or gear box. I know nothing about this type of gear box. Can anyone help me understand this? I'm sure it is forward and reverse for prop, but is there anything else in there? Finally, I need an operator's book or copy so I can properly prepare this for staring. It seems in such good shape I don't want to start off on the wrong foot. Crankcase oil was so clear on the dip stick I thought it was empty at first. Education on all this would be appreciated. Dennis in E WA state
