Jim Thank you ! I had given up finding this info before trying this site and getting your answer. I don't think that info is anywhere else on the internet. Very much appreciated. I see that my motor is near the end of the 1940-1948 production. Does this mean that I can use a 1946-1948 car head gasket? Thanks Boter PS I Now remember buying motor mounts for my Model K from you some years ago. |

You can use a car head gasket if it is copper or at least has copper liners in the water passages. |

Boter, You should do fine with that Ace. I ran one for 4 years in a 27' Cris Craft Super Deluxe when the original Crown was out for work. It was the hipo Special version, sodium valves and all. Reliable, adequate speed and pulled a skier. |
